GENERAL RULES

This Privacy Policy has been created to specify what personal data we process and how that data is protected. The document is based on the provisions on personal data protection, including the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) of 27 April 2016 and the Personal Data Protection Act of 10 May 2018.

For CHEMLEX Sp. z o.o., the protection of users’ personal data is of the utmost importance. We make every effort to ensure that users feel safe when entrusting us with their personal information.

We cooperate only with entities that ensure a high level of protection of the personal data we process.

Each user is bound by the current version of the Privacy Policy available at the above link.

Any changes introduced to the Privacy Policy do not affect the fundamental principle that we do not sell or disclose personal or address data of customers or users of our websites to third parties. RECIPIENTS OF PERSONAL DATA

Your personal data may be transferred to third parties whose services we use in connection with operating the website www.chemlex.com.pl and our social media profiles. We ensure that we carefully select all entities with which we cooperate or whose services we use, and we always require appropriate data protection measures.

Below is a list of all entities whose services we use. If personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, the entities processing the data maintain a level of protection consistent with EU standards, including through the use of clauses adopted by the European Commission.

  • Microsoft – analytics services, email service
  • X (formerly Twitter) – marketing support
  • Meta – marketing suport

REQUIREMENT TO PROVIDE PERSONAL DATA

Providing personal data is voluntary; however, certain data is necessary to conclude a contract and use our services. If you order a service, providing the required data is essential to carry out all tasks related to the concluded contract.

If you contact us regarding any matter related to the website or the services we provide, providing contact details (at least an email address) may be necessary for us to respond to your inquiry.

If the obligation to provide data results from legal provisions, providing such data becomes mandatory.

AUTOMATED DECISION-MAKING AND PROFILING

Personal data is not used for automated decision‑making that could affect your legal situation or produce similar significant effects.

In accordance with applicable law, we process personal data only for the time necessary to achieve the intended purpose. After this period, personal data is irreversibly deleted or destroyed.

An additional one‑year period related to the processing of personal data collected for the performance of a contract is applied because a claim may be submitted by you just before the expiry of the limitation period.

SOCIAL MEDIA – SHARING PERSONAL DATA

We operate profiles on social media platforms, and our website contains plugins that redirect you to these platforms.

We act as the administrator of our profiles on each platform, and we process personal data (such as your name, surname, or username) in order to manage our profiles, build communities, and interact with users.

The provider of each social media platform determines the rules governing the platform and the principles of data processing for its own purposes. We encourage you to read the terms and privacy policies of each platform. We do not process data collected independently by social media platforms.

Plugins directing you to our profiles allow you to connect directly to our pages after clicking the platform icon. A social media platform may obtain information that you are visiting our website, especially if you are logged into your account at the time.
